Welcome

Unlike other challenge communities which are based on various movies and characters, this community is based on photos and lyrics. The photographs usually come from Getty images, and the lyrics can be anything from quotes, to song lyrics. Occasionally there will be theme challenges. The photographs are chosen completely at random, one week your task might be to create icons from a photo of nature, next it could be an animal or city.

About

This community was created, not only out of pure boredom, but also because constantly making icons of the same person does get tedious after a while (referring to those stillness communities, however don’t take it as a insult, I myself participate in about… 20 of them).

So if you would like to try out something different, join in =)

Time

Challenges run on weekly bases. Voting takes place on Saturday morning and all icons are due Friday night (CET). A new challenge will be posted with the voting, so members have a weekend to work on their icons.

Rules

→ Icons must meet the LiveJournal requirements (under 40KB and 100x100, .gif, .jpg, or .png)

→ Icons may be animated, but do not have to be.

→ For any lyrical challenges you may use what picture you wish, unless stated otherwise.

→ The number of icons allowed will always be posted with the challenge and will vary.

→ Do not post your icons anywhere else before the voting is over, and do not tell others to vote for you.

→ Post the URL along with the icon please.

→ Do not use bases created by other icon makers.
